Resurrection

I finally purchased a laptop. I know I'm way behind the times, but it wasn't a pressing issue until I realized that my personal goals require that I have access to technology at all times.
Lately, I've been entrenched in the role of student. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to return to school and complete my graduate degree. This summer, I discovered that I'm eligible to walk in next May's ceremony! This has truly been a dream resurrected; and I'm amazed at how God remembers the desires of our hearts. He's resurrecting dreams that had long since passed away. I always said I'd only return to school if it was free, thinking it would never happen. But what does He do? He gives me a position at a university!
This is just one of the things I think about when I experience cloudy days and hard times. I think about how faithful God is.
I can't help but remember how much my life has positively changed since moving to NJ. There have been some rough patches, but I wouldn't change a thing about it. These years have allowed me to experience the strength and resilience that only comes through being pressed (but not crushed).
So, I titled this entry "Resurrection", because I'm aware that some of my forgotten dreams are coming to fruition. AND now that I have my very own computer, I can resurrect this blog! lol
So, thanks to you all who have asked about my next entry. I'm back and this time I'm not too busy to share the blessing that is my life.

peace & blessings.
